Want to add a little bit of rustic charm to your kitchen? A fence board backsplash is just what the room needs to look warm and inviting. The idea is simple and transparent. Repurpose fence boards and use them to cover the space between your kitchen counters and the upper cabinets. This technique is perfect if your cabinets are hanging are slightly different heights because you can easily adjust the boards and cut them to size.
Architectural details. Traditional kitchens focus on the details in all areas. There’s a bit of embellishment or adornment everywhere you look, but the best traditional kitchens just feel layered rather than overbearing. Speaking of details, this kitchen has it all — arches, moldings, beam ceilings, framed and raised-panel cabinets, a custom hood surround, chandeliers, furniture-style cabinets and, of course, island legs.
