When choosing what kind of art you’d like to feature, always go with something that speaks to you. It could be big or small, vibrant or subtle. When it comes to art, there is no right or wrong, as long as in your home it makes you feel good.
Distressed turquoise. The renovation on this historic Massachusetts farmhouse included a large dream kitchen for the restaurant-owning homeowners. A pleasing turquoise with a distressed finish works beautifully against the exposed brick wall. And we’ll give them bonus points for all the wonderful colors of the ingredients in the Mason jars.
Color and pattern mixed. Why stop with color or pattern when you can have both? This creative kitchen mixes it up with a warm pink hue applied behind half of the upper cabinets and the upper part of the wall, and a bold wallpaper design behind the bottom half of the upper cabinets.
Cool Color Palette. This kitchen also features bold analogous colors, but it’s on the cool end of the color wheel with shades of green and blue. It has a sophisticated and serene feel.
